It was a fascinating end to week four in Premier League as sides started coming to terms with the intensity of competition. Add to that the midweek action in Europe – both Champions League and Europa League – it makes a nice prelude to week five action.

Hull City versus Arsenal

Hull had a very good start to their life back in Premier League winning seven points from the first four games. Draw in the last round was but a minor glitch. For their visitors though, it’s another season of ambitious start. Can the Gunners rise from the disappointment of a draw against PSG? Back Hull to nick a point and keep an eye on Alexis Sanchez scoring a goal!

Manchester City versus Bournemouth

It’s hard to see the intensity dropping from the Citizens. Under Pep Guardiola, the rhythm seems to have come so early for City that it looks difficult for the opponents to stop them. It’s now a question of how many goals they can score. Back the hosts to score more than three goals and also check the odds of Sergio Aguero scoring a goal.

West Brom versus West Ham

These are two teams struggling for various reasons. While the uncertainty around Tony Pulis remains, West Brom may struggle to focus on the field. West Ham seems to have lost touch of their last season form and are struggling at the bottom end of the table. The return of Dimitri Payet could just be the tonic they need. Back the Hammers to score a win!

Leicester City versus Burnley

The Foxes made a great debut in Champions League and if anything they would love to bring that form to Premier League. The biggest positive is the return of Riyad Mahrez’s magic. Back the Algerian to score a goal and may be help the hosts to a victory!

Everton versus Middlesbrough

One of the interesting matches of this weekend fixtures. The Toffees started well under Ronald Koeman and look set for a dash at the top four. Boro isn’t an easy opponent despite their hiccup against Crystal Palace last weekend. AN enterprising match in the offing with the hosts looking likely to win by an odd goal.

Watford vs Manchester United

The honeymoon seems to be over for Jose Mourinho and United who have lost consecutive matches now. It would take a big heart to write them off early but the Red Devils are still struggling to recapture some of their old aura. The Hornets should be ready to sting and don’t be surprised if they pick up a point at the least!

Other matches

Crystal Palace take on Stoke City and could do well with a win while Southampton play Swansea after a good midweek in Europa League. Finally Tottenham play Sunderland and look to take some revenge for their Champions League loss.
