English Premier League Transfer Review 2016 English Premier League Transfer Review 2016 Bettingxpert.com

Transfer market action is always interesting especially when it comes to English Premier League – be it because of the financial muscle or the lure of playing in one of the most followed leagues. It’s no different now as the 2016-17 season has already picked up steam, notwithstanding the break for European Championships. We have already looked at how some clubs have set the ground running and we continue our focus on the remaining clubs.

Chelsea had to start their season of recruitment with a manager by going for Antonio Conte who surprised many at the Euros with his Italian side. Stamford Bridge has a huge season to look forward to, after the disappointment of last year. Michy Batshuayi has been added with an eye on improving their goal rate. Their biggest acquisition could prove to be N’Golo Kante who will give them much needed steel in the middle of the park and could free up Cesc Fabregas to play his free-flowing game. There will be exits for sure too with Nathan Ake already choosing the way out.

Everton made one of their biggest signings by going for Southampton manager Ronald Koeman who may prove to be vital in their quest to get back on trophy-winning terms. Martin Stekelenburg has been added to replace the outgoing Tom Howard while golden oldies Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar have also moved out.

Liverpool have been another silent performer in the transfer market by going for Southampton’s Sadio Mane who will definitely give Jurgen Klopp the pace he likes. Joel Matip has already been signed in the winter window and will link up with the squad now. Watch out the action unfloding from Anfield because something says that Klopp will have so much to offer for the transfer window still!

Tottenham Hotspur had to spend some anxious moments worrying if their revered manager Mauricio Pochettino will be poached by Manchester United. Now that worry has been put to bed, they have signed Victor Wanyama from Southampton and Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar with an eye on improving upon their failed title bid from last year. Wanyama will bring much required defensive solidarity while Janssen should reduce the work load on Harry Kane.

Of the rest, newly promoted Middlesbrough have been one of the busier sides having already signed a clutch of players. Victor Valdes has been given a lifeline after his Manchester United hell while Viktor Fischer and Jordan McGhee could prove vital for Aitor Karanka in his pursuit to stay afloat. Southampton too have a new manager in Claude Puel who has seen the exits of Graziano Pelle, Sadio Mane and Victor Wanyama. Addition of Nathan Redmond and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg may not excite many as yet but watch out for the Saints for more transfer actin.
