England Premier League 2015-2016 Week 32 Preview England Premier League 2015-2016 Week 32 Preview

Action resumes in English Premier League after the international break with teams resuming their battle for positions and supremacy. We look ahead to the games.

Can Liverpool hurt Tottenham?

Tottenham is one of the most impressive sides of this season, with the nucleus of success formed by the young England players. Their resolve to stay in the title hunt will be put to test as will be their ability to manage their high energy levels.

But playing Liverpool at Anfield is not an easy proposition, especially under Jurgen Klopp who is quickly bringing back the fear factor. Their history at this stadium too isn’t any impressive (just 8 wins at Anfield) which makes it as much difficult.

Back this young Tottenham team to come back with a draw.

Can Southampton give hope to Tottenham?

It’s an interesting situation for Southampton whose visit to Leicester could boost the title hopes of other contenders. There’s a little riding on them finishing in Europa spots but there’s so much for Leicester to lose than for Southampton to gain.

This proposition makes the match an interesting watch but James Vardy and co. would like to shut down every negative vibe. Vardy and Drinkwater continued their season of success with a good show for England but it would depend on how quickly they can get back to their best for the Foxes.

The Saints could surprise the Foxes with a draw – eventually helping the challengers.

Can Bournemouth frustrate Manchester City?

It is a surprisingly diffident season for the Citizens – progress in Europe and success in Capital One Cup is wrapped with equally frustrating indifferent domestic form. The immediate cause of concern is the chasing pack led by West Ham United and any further slip-ups could be fatal for their top-four hopes.

Bournemouth may fight to earn a share of spoils.

Can Newcastle continue their surge under Benitez?

In the midst of all the top four contests, this one at the bottom end of the table should be a crunching game. Norwich and Newcastle are separated by two spots and three points which makes this game a six-pointer.

The arrival of Rafa Benitez seems to have energized Newcastle who need a win to move out of the bottom three and ease the nerves. Norwich are in similar territory and will be a stubborn opponent.

This could end up being a tight draw.

Among others…

Arsenal welcome Watford to the Emirates and would be favorites to clinch full points. West Ham welcome struggling Crystal Palace and another win should put more pressure on City. Sunderland should look for a win over West Brom in another tight encounter that could determine their league safety.

Elsewhere Manchester United host Everton and the home fans could be in for further disappointment. And in another insignificant fixture, the bottom-placed Aston Villa welcome Chelsea, who should end up with maximum points.
